Brunch is a great way to start the day. Especially when it is in conjunction with a party, like Sarah's Bridal Shower. Sarah knits and sews so that was the theme, complete with a ball of yarn cake! Ricky, Sarah's soon to be husband, didn't stay for the shower, but I did manage to sneak a couple photos of him when he dropped his lovely fiancé off for the festivities. She was completely surprised and admitted later that she got a little emotional when she saw so many people from every milestone of her life gathering to celebrate her and her upcoming marriage. I can honestly say she is truly one of a kind and one of the nicest people I know so it didn't surprise me that so many people wanted to partake in this event. Madison, the flower girl, didn't miss a beat while helping to collect the bows for Sarah's bow bouquet or getting all her gifts in order. It was a great shower and everyone was all smiles and looking forward to the big wedding day!
