Bonnie & Bill's Wedding

September 04, 2018

Rain showers in the morning broke away by the time Bonnie was ready to walk down the isle to meet her man, Bill. The wedding, which was a smaller, more intimate gathering, took place in a venue that was formally a church in the 1900's; built with beautiful wood and beams, and huge windows that let in lots of light. Family and friends were gathered on benches as the couple said their vows. Bonnie was beautiful in her wedding gown adorned with lace and a light, airy overlay. The food for the event was all smoked meats done by the groom himself, along with plenty of bbq sauces to choose from. Several delicious side dishes and salads were also made by the bride and complimented the main part of the meal. In addition to doing all the food themselves, Bonnie and Bill set up the entire venue as well. The tables and chairs, centerpieces, decor, everything! Even the flowers were assembled by Bonnie herself, including her gorgeous bouquet of sunflowers and white roses. Later on, after photos of the couple and wedding party were done on the beach, it was time to dig into the cake! The cake was made by the brides best friend, Kristen Hersom of Mtn. Mousse Bakery, and was put together that morning right at the venue. It was decorated with sugar lace to match the brides dress and was just as delicious as it was beautiful. It was a family ordeal as her husband and their children jumped right in to help put the layers together. The newly married couple were beaming all day as they spent it with their closest family and friends. It's easy to see they have a great, loving group to call their tribe and I was honored they choose me to be a part of it on their special day.

  2. I completely agree that Bonnie was beautiful in her wedding gown. I adore their décor and the color pallet as well. I believe that hosting a successful wedding party is a challenging thing but this ceremony had all of the brilliant elements. At one of the Seattle Wedding venues I too would be marrying soon and will sue warm colors for the décor.
