It was the middle of a heat wave when I met up with Ashley and David one Saturday morning. You wouldn't know it by looking at the happy couple, but it was already 85 degrees with 70% humidity and the air was dense. They didn't seem to mind! They were together at the beautiful Wood Park for their engagement session and all was well in the world. We took it easy during the photoshoot so we didn't overheat and luckily there was plenty of shade to get out of the sun. However, that didn't stop me from contemplating jumping off the bridge into the river with the turtles. They had the right idea to keep cool! Ashley and David are a very sweet couple. I asked if they had any photo ideas they wanted to incorporate and David jumped at the chance. He suggested picking Ashley up bride style on the bridge and Ashley, although a little nervous, obliged. It was such a cute moment! I know they are anxiously counting down the days until they say "I Do". And I bet David can't wait to carry his bride that same way over the threshold!
