What was supposed to be a day of thunderstorms and rain turned into a warm day with blue skies. It was the perfect setting where family and friends came together to celebrate Alison and Jerry's upcoming arrival of their baby girl, whom they are naming Loretta, after Jerry's mother. Alison was adorable in her purple dress and Jerry looked cool in his black button up. The shower was a surprise and they were both very excited to see everyone when they arrived (Alison in the car blindfolded and Jerry on his motorcycle...not blindfolded obviously!) and talk about how they can't wait to meet their little girl. It was a Jack and Jill cookout and there was plenty of great food, outdoor games and, of course, gifts to open. The shower was Beatles themed, which is how the baby's nursery is decorated, and there were a bunch of really cool Beatles decorations complete with a yellow submarine photo booth! Towards the end of the shower the couple played the Dirty Diaper game, which was hilariously and cleverly renamed to "Love Me Do Do". For those that don't what that game is, it's where the parents to be are blindfolded (or at least have their eyes closed) and have to guess what food or substance is in the dirty diaper by touching, smelling and/or tasting. For Ali and Jerry only edible products were used and put into little plastic cups to make the game more cost effective. They did a great job and guessed 11 out of 12 correct! They had a lot of fun playing it and it was very fun to watch!
