Baby season is upon us! The amount of women I know that are pregnant right now and due in June and July can't be counted on just one hand and I'm all for it. Bring on the babies for me to snuggle! Ashley and David are back on the blog today, this time with a mini Maternity Session. This particular shot started out chilly, but it hadn't started raining yet so we were good to go. I did some photos of just Ashley first and then her beau, David, arrived to do some couples shots. By that time it had started raining a little and the wind picked up. From that point on things started moving pretty fast with the weather AND the photoshoot. Rescheduling wasn't an option and I didn't want to put our mama up against these elements for any longer then needed. Throughout the rest of the shoot the rain and wind got steadily worse and by the time we were done the temp dropped to 40 degrees. It was cold, raw and wet. But did this future mama in a sleeveless dress and sandals run away? Hell no! She was a total BA and we finished the photoshoot despite the weather. It's kinda of funny because the weather was the complete opposite on the day we shot their Engagement Photo session the year before. That particular morning was wicked sunny and so hot that it made a haze on everything and even though we started at 9am we were still melting. No matter the weather Ashley and David look mother nature in the face and say "We out here!" just for a chance to snuggle up with each other for the sweetest photoshoots.  And they look awesome doing it! I am so glad we braved the elements to do this one. They are the best and are going to be awesome parents!
